Sweet Gig

Earlier this week, I started my new job, working at great game studio called Smart Bomb Interactive. So far, I absolutely love my job, doing some sweet stylized 2D EFX animation for their fist ever 2D game. The game looks great, with a very distinct and appealing style. I love the work environment. Everyone seems to be self-motivated, and management is mostly hands off, letting the creative juices flow out all over the place. It's a metaphoric lake of creativity!

Trip to Disney Studio

Last week, I went on the most amazing trip of my life. Me and a few handfuls of BYU animation students carpooled down to Burbank and attended Disney's "Inspire Days." All day Friday, we attended panels with various animators and artists, got a tour of the studio, and even got one-on-one reviews of our work. Coolest experience ever.

Website Update

I've just uploaded a new demo reel. I'm looking to make tweaks here and there, but I'm pretty happy with the progress.
